Join us for an exciting Temecula Valley Community Events Charity Cornhole Tournament at the Family Fun Fest / Riverside County Fair! Compete with local enthusiasts and fairgoers in this fun and engaging sport. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, we welcome all to participate and enjoy the friendly competition.

Tournament Details:

  • Date: June 13, 2025
  • Time: 2:00PM, check-in at least 60 minutes prior
  • Location: Main Stage Area

Registration:

Entry Fee: $50 per team – The more entries, the more $$$ y’all can win. Cash prizes will be paid out dependent on number entries. 20% of the entries will go to the winner. 80% will go to the non-profit charity.

  • Team Composition: 2 players per team
  • Elimination: Single Team Elimination
  • Divisions:
    • Backyard/Novice Division: For those who do not play regularly or in leagues. This division is for fun and good times!
    • Competitive Division: For experienced players comfortable with the game. Regular group or league players should join this division.

Rules of Play:

Game Setup:

  • Each game requires two teams of two players.

  • Opposing team members stand at opposite boards on the same side.

  • Each player has 4 bags to throw.

Scoring:

  • A bag on the board scores 1 point.
  • A bag in the hole scores 3 points.
  • The first team to reach or exceed 21 points at the end of an inning wins.
  • Scoring is done by cancellation (e.g., if Team A scores 6 points and Team B scores 2 points in a round, Team A is awarded 4 points).

Gameplay:

  • Players alternate throws until all 8 bags are thrown.
  • Teams then tally the score for that inning.
  • The team that wins the inning pitches first in the next inning.

Fouls:

  • A player’s foot going past the front edge of the pitch box during a throw counts as a foul.
  • Fouled bags are removed from play in that inning.

Interference:

  • If a bag hits previously thrown bags causing them to move, the board is reset to its condition before the interference.

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded to the top teams, including [List Prizes, e.g., Fair Merchandise, Tickets, Cash Prizes, etc.].

Additional Information:

  • All equipment, including cornhole boards and bags, will be provided.
  • Participants must adhere to all fairground rules and regulations.
  • In the event of inclement weather, the tournament may be delayed or rescheduled.
