PAID PERFORMANCE ENTERTAINMENT

Bands, Singers, Dancers, Musicians & Magicians — If you’ve got talent, you should be front-and-center on stage at the Family Fun Fest / Riverside County Fair!

For paid performers, our Salary ranges from $150 – $200 per day and food vouchers. Performances should range from 4 to 6 times each day for 30 minutes to one hour. Anything entertaining; cartoonist, musician, juggling, pianist, magician, etc. welcome! If you’re entertaining and love to perform, we want you!

MUSICIANS & BANDS

Solo artists and bands performing in any musical genre should download the Entertainer Handbook and apply using the link below. A resume, following, and track record will be needed for paid musician & band acts.

ENTERTAINMENT APPLICATION FAQS

You will receive an email from “[email protected]” notifying you.

Make sure to check your email and spam folder! When we have a spot to offer you, we will contact you by email and approval deadlines will be enforced. All applicants will receive an email with performance confirmation or waitlist notification.

Performers with equipment will be allowed by the stage area. These parking lots are not open to the general public and are very limited. 

The Family Fun Fest / Riverside County Fair programs various types of entertainment. Due to the programming, you might not get your first or second choice. Please provide us with as many date options as possible to help better your opportunity of performing at the Family Fun Fest / Riverside County Fair.

The Family Fun Fest / Riverside County Fair charges a $20 processing fee per entertainment entry to help cover the cost of processing and vetting applications. In addition, the Fair provides the venue (stage, lighting, sound equipment), stage management staff, marketing, and vehicular and entry access for each performer.

Yes, you will need at least one chaperone who is 21 or older.

All our stages will have an aux cable (headphone jack). Music on an MP3 device or iPhone 8 and newer will need to bring their own dongle cable to plug into our system. Be sure to bring a backup.

No. We provide an aux cable for your recorded music ( please make sure you have the appropriate inputs, note that any iPhone 8 and newer will need a dongle cable ), but you will need to provide the person who will play it. Be sure to organize your music for fast play.

Performers who have heavy equipment, props and costumes may request assistance from our cart base. You will need to put a request in on your final booking form. This may incur an additional fee for staffing.

Musical Groups: You will need to bring your personal performance equipment, such as guitars, drums, etc. There is a full sound system at each stage.

Dance Groups: You can bring costumes, props (by approval) music, etc.

No. Soliciting tips during your performance is not allowed. If you solicit tips in any way, your performance will be cancelled and the violation will affect future bookings.

Yes, we have a sound system at every stage, along with a stage manager who will assist you with your performance.
 

Yes, there is a limit of (25) performers allowed for (1) performance. Due to the stage size there is also a limit on number of performers on the stage at any time.

No. We provide Fair access credentials to all performers which includes parking. Performers under the age of 18 will be allowed (1) chaperone to accompany them, and the chaperone will also receive a Fair credential. If you would like to enjoy the carnival and other entertainment options, that would be at your own expense.

Each group performing at the Fair will receive (1) parking pass. We have limited parking space on grounds and encourage carpooling, mass transportation and rideshare options.

Yes. Performers may enter the Fair at our entertainment & vendor entrance checkpoint.

All entrances have security checkpoints and are also open to the public, so please plan accordingly — arrive early and have your Fair credential readily available.
